Laois band deliver strong anti racism message with new lyric video ‘Eyes of the World’

Laois punky folk band The Outcast Crew have a released a lyric video for their latest single ‘Eyes of the World’.

The song is a powerful anthem of unity, acceptance, and hope that calls for the dismantling of hatred and the celebration of our shared humanity.

With heartfelt lyrics, the song urges listeners to come together across tribal, racial, and cultural lines, embracing one another as kin and rejecting prejudice and fear.

It honors the legacy of past generations who paved the way for inclusivity and progress, reminding us to continue their journey by keeping our hearts and doors open.

The chorus is a unifying call to action, emphasizing that in the eyes of the world, we are all walking the same path toward freedom, equality, and a better future.

The band recently completed a sell out 20 date German tour where they earned the tagline ‘The Godfathers of Punky Folk’.

The band comprises of Brian O’Mahoney (Vocals/Guitar), Finn O’Mahoney (Bass/Vocals), John Davidson (Fiddle/Vocals), David Harte (Banjo/Vocals), Damien O’Meara (Accordion/Vocals) and Paul Flynn (Drums).

Brian, Finn, David and Paul are all from Portlaoise while John is a native of Shanahoe.
