Gardai are investigating following incidents of theft and attempted break-ins in the Stradbally area this week.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, a commercial premises was broken into.
Gardai have confirmed that cigarettes, cash and vapes were stolen following the robbery.
In the early hours of Wednesday morning, a man was observed by residents of the Cill Beag Manor estate acting suspiciously.
In footage posted online, the man can be seen approaching numerous houses and appearing to attempt to gain access.
In relation to the break-in on Thursday morning, Gardai confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
A spokesperson said: “Gardaí in Co Laois are investigation a burglary at a commercial premises in Stradbally which occurred at around 1.30am on Thursday, June 5.
“Cigarettes, cash and vapes were taken. A technical examination of the scene has been carried out.
“Investigation ongoing.”
