Dorota (Dora) Gabrysiak. Esker Hills Portlaoise. Died 19th June 2025. Peacefully surrounded by her friends and family. Dearly loved mum to Suzanne and Julia. Loving daughter to Krystyna. Deeply missed by her loving family. Brothers Tomasz and Leszek. And all her colleagues and customers and friends at Mueller and O`Connell Bakery in Abbeyleix.
A celebration of her life will take place at the Life Church Portlaoise (R32HA21) at 7 pm on Wednesday evening June 25th. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Pauls Cemetery Portlaoise. In keeping with her personality Dora would like everyone to wear bright and cheerful clothes to her funeral.
The family appreciate your support at this difficult time, and while welcoming cards and messages of support , they also hope for privacy to deal with the loss.
Christopher (Noel) Monahan
Whitehall, Castlepollard, Westmeath/Rathdowney, Laois
The death has occurred on Thursday, June 19th of Christopher (Noel) Monahan, Whitehall, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Rathdowney, Co. Laois; peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Christopher’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, June 21st in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney, Co. Laois (R32 AX65) at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Errill Cemetery.
John Dunne
Clonabeg, Clonaslee, Laois
John Dunne, Clonabeg, Clonaslee, Co. Laois. Died peacefully on the 19th of June 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Predeceased by his wife Nuala & brother Pe.
John will be missed by his sons John & James, daughters Mary, Fionnula, Margaret & Joanne, his 12 treasured grandchildren, his daughter-in-law Siobhán, sons-in-law Thomas, Peter & Patrick, his brothers Tom & Mike, his sisters Mary, Peggy, Bridie, Annie & Katch, nieces, nephews, extended family, close neighbours & friends.
Reposing at his residence, on Friday the 20th of June from 12noon – 8pm. Family time only after 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Saturday 21st of June at 11am in St Manman’s Church, Clonaslee, with burial afterwards in St. Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee. John’s Funeral Mass can be viewed on www.churchmedia.tv by selecting County Laois.
