Funeral details for a young man who tragically died following a fatal road collision in Laois in the early hours of Wednesday morning have been confirmed.
Colm Lynch-O’Sullivan passed away following a single-vehicle collision occurred at Ballaghmore in Borris-In-Ossory.
Aged in his early 20s and from Cloncourse, Ballaghmore, Colm is survived by his parents Olive and Con.
He is pre-deceased by his sister Grace and sadly missed by his brothers Brendan and Tómas, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, niece, extended family and all his friends.
Colm will be reposing in Tierney’s Funeral Home, Roscrea (E53NY70) on Sunday evening from 4pm to 7pm.
His removal from his residence in Cloncourse on Monday morning will take place at 10.30am arriving in St Molua’s Church, Ballaghmore (R32RC53) for Funeral Mass at 11.00am.
Colm’s burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Gardai continue to appeal for witnesses following the fatal single-vehicle collision at Ballaghmore.
Emergency services were alerted to a collision on the R445 at approximately 3.15am. Mr Lynch O’Sullivan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area between 3am and 3.30am are asked to make it available to Gardaí.
