Liam Kelly

The death has occurred of Liam Kelly, 4 Woodview, Stradbally, Co. Laois, peacefully on the 9th of July 2025 at his home.
Liam will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his partner Betty, daughter Sharon, son Phillip and their mother, grandchildren Amber, Ryan, Cathal and Bríain, son-in-law Eamonn, sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and colleagues.
Liam will repose at his home on Thursday from 4pm with Recital of the Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass at 11:30am on Friday in the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally and afterwards Liam will be laid to rest in Oakvale Cemetery.
Family Flowers Only. House Private on Friday morning please.
Richard Brophy

Richard Brophy, Upper Sconce, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died July 9th 2025, suddenly at his home, surrounded by his loving family and neighbours. Predeceased by his Granddaughter Georgia Levi.
Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ellen, daughters Helen, Janet, Caroline, Carmel and Rachelle, grandchildren Ethan, Theo, Ruby, Oisin, Hannah, Amelia, Harrison and Riley, sons in law Alan, Paul, Paul, Robin and Fred, Brother and Sisters, Brothers in law, Sisters in law, Nieces, Nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Catherine (Nyra, Rosenallis).
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Ann, his son Michael, daughters Katherina, Patricia, Antoinette and Clare, daughter-in-law Edel, sons-in-law Mel, Mike, John and Kevin, grand children Ava, Liliy, Pat, Eve, Kate, Amelia, Sam, Danny and Ella, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a larger circle of friends.

Suddenly at his Residence Predeceased by his wife Kathleen, mother Elizabeth, brother Pat and sister Betty
Forever remembered and cherished by his children Sean, Margaret, and Paul, sister Nora, daughters-in-law Siobhan and Nichola, son-in-law Gavin, grandchildren John, Catherine, Maggie, Cian, Liam, Euan, and Rory, great grandchildren James and Adam, his wider family and wonderful friends.
Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer on Wednesday (9th July) from 7pm concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm.
Funeral cortege arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyragget on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 11am.
John will be laid to rest thereafter in Saint Finnan’s Cemetery, Ballyragget.

Mary Barnett (née Keegan)

Mary passed away peacefully on Saturday 5th July in her 75th year of life surrounded by her loving family and friends in the wonderful care of the staff in Esker Rì Nursing Home.
Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary, and her brothers Christopher, Jimmy and Paddy.
Forever cherished by her loving husband Jim, daughter Lisa, son-in-law Sean, and her grandchildren Sarah and Ciara, brothers Tim, Tommy, Dan and Noel, sisters Elizabeth, Ann and Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, wider family and wonderful friends.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home on Monday from 4pm. Removal at 6.20pm to St. Brigid’s Church Rosenallis arriving for 7pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am. Burial after in St.Brigid’s Cemetery.
