A Laois GAA club is giving away tickets to the hottest gig of the summer – and today is your very last chance to throw your name in the hat.
Ahead of their big Laois SHC game against Camross this Sunday, Ballinakill GAA club are set to make someone’s year as they raffle off two tickets to see Oasis live in Dublin – tomorrow!
The gig will be part of a Croke Park double-header, with Liam, Noel, et al set to rock their way across both Saturday and Sunday performances.
Having created a reputation as one of the most famous rock bands in the world, Oasis also garnered a reputation for their volatility and internal struggles.
The band were formed in the early 90’s but eventually split up in 2009 before announcing this reunion tour some 15 years later.
The Dublin concerts were the topic of much discussion when tickets went on sale last September, making national headlines as thousands of fans were left dissatisfied by the process and the prices.
With many fans paying in excess of €400 for tickets, Ballinakill are now giving you the chance to go see the band for as little as a fiver.
There are two standing pitch tickets up for grabs for tomorrow’s gig (Saturday, August 16) with all the proceeds going directly towards developing Ballinakill’s club facilities.
The draw takes place TONIGHT (Friday, August 15) at 9pm, with tickets available as follows:
