In Pictures: Knockbeg College celebrate as 65 students collect Leaving Cert results

St Mary’s College Knockbeg was celebrating as all 65 students received their Leaving Cert results today.

A number of students came into the school to receive their results from Principal John Maye and Deputy Principal Conor Ronan.

Principal Maye congratulated all of the students and wished them well for the future.

He said: “The class of 2025 have received results of the highest calibre with a majority of our students achieving above or close to their potential.

“11% of our students scored above 550 CAO points with 24% above 500.

“The Leaving Certificate results are a milestone in everyone’s life and gets quite a lot of attention.

“As a community it is a privilege to share this moment with the students and their families.

“They will always be members of the Knockbeg community and we hope to have lots of moments together in the future at past pupil events.

“And we are always here for them with advice.”

Mr Maye went on to pay credit to the hard work and dedication of the teachers, SNAs, parents and guardians and reminded students that the school is always available for advice as they decide upon their next steps.
