Scoil Chríost Rí is a school where our student voice matters – and every voice, in that sense, is a female voice.
We are proud to be a thriving all-girls secondary school, founded in the Presentation tradition and guided by the values of CEIST.
Our mission is to create a kind, caring, respectful community where each girl is encouraged to reach her potential.
At Scoil Chríost Rí, academic excellence is at the core of what we do. Year after year, our students achieve outstanding results and progress to further and higher education at a rate that is among the highest in the midlands – not just for girls’ schools, but for all schools.
But we measure success in more than grades. Every child is valued for her skills, her hopes, and her aspirations, and we work tirelessly to ensure each girl leaves us confident, resilient, and ready to take her place in the world.
Our students are exceptional – they are leaders in their communities, role models for one another, and ambassadors for the school.
On the sporting field, Scoil Chríost Rí competes at the very highest level in basketball, Gaelic football, volleyball and rugby.
We also compete in a variety of other sports such as camogie, badminton and athletics. But sport here is not just for the elite – every student has the opportunity to play, participate, and belong.
Our students shine in so many areas beyond the classroom. They are articulate leaders in debating and public speaking, proudly representing Scoil Chríost Rí at national competitions in Trinity College Dublin and UCD.
Creativity also flourishes here: a large cohort of students are involved in music, art, and performance, and our co-curricular culture is vibrant, with thriving Art and Performance Clubs, Debating and Library Committees, and regular entries to Junk Kouture showcasing innovation and imagination.
We are equally proud of our Business and Enterprise Departments, where entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well.
Through our Mini Company programme, students develop their own businesses, create and market products, and sell them at our Christmas Fair.
Many of these teams have gone on to represent Scoil Chríost Rí at both local and national enterprise competitions, achieving significant success and gaining invaluable skills that will serve them long into the future.
We are equally proud of the supports we provide. Our three Áras Nano ASD classes are thriving and have become a hugely important part of our school family.
We also carry forward the Presentation tradition of particular care for students from vulnerable backgrounds, ensuring that no girl is left behind.
As Principal, I see every day how remarkable our students are. They are articulate, confident, compassionate young women – and they make this school what it is.
On Wednesday 18th September from 5–8pm, I invite you to come and meet them, to see our classrooms and facilities, to talk with our staff, and to experience the warmth and pride of Scoil Chríost Rí for yourself.
We don’t exaggerate who we are – we don’t need to. The achievements, spirit, and joy of our girls speak for themselves.
We are really looking forward to meeting you all on the night.
