Clonaslee-St Manman’s and Clonaslee Ladies announce details of joint fundraising venture

Supporters of Clonaslee St Manman’s and Clonaslee St Manman’s Ladies gathered on Sunday morning for the launch of the clubs’ exciting new fundraiser.

A detailed presentation outlined the works completed to date at Fr. Kehoe Park and revealed ambitious plans for the future development of the grounds.

To raise the necessary funds, the clubs are aiming to sell 1,000 virtual squares of the pitch at €100 each, with every purchaser entered into a draw for a €5,000 prize.

The launch was made extra special by the presence of some high-profile guests.

Laois hurlers David Dooley (captain) and Tomas Keyes, along with Laois Ladies footballers Andrea Moran, Eimear Barry, and Clodagh Dunne, were on hand to meet the young supporters.

Laois camogie players Ellen and Lucy Conroy also attended, bringing along both the league and All-Ireland trophies.

The highlight for many was the surprise appearance of Tipperary captain and All-Ireland final Man of the Match, Ronan Maher, who received a warm welcome from the large crowd of boys and girls present.

Squares can be purchased by scanning the QR code on the poster below or by contacting any committee member.
