May McCormack nee Flanagan Drummond, Rosenallis, Co. Laois and formerly of The Meeghlans, Killeigh, Co. Offaly.

Passed away peacefully Monday 15th of September surrounded by her loving family at The Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise.

Predeceased by her husband Pat, her parents Peter and Mary, her sister Nelly, her brother Jimmy, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Deepley regretted by her daughters Maire and Michelle and her son Paul, son-in-law Bernard and her grandson Senan, her brother Andy, sisters Bridget and Anna, brothers-in-law Eamon and Jim, sister-in-law Eilish, neices, nephews, relatives, her great neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home Mountmellick on Wednesday from 4pm. Recital of The Rosary at 7pm. Funeral arriving to St.Brigid’s Church Rosenallis on Thursday morning for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial after in St.Brigid’s Cemetery.

Thomas McCormack
The Grange, Portlaoise, Laois/Naas, Kildare

Tom passed away peacefully at Willowbrook Nursing Home, Newbridge. He is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth. Loving father, foster father and grandfather. Formerly of Sarto Park, Naas and Dundalk. Sadly missed by his sons Martin and Ray, daughter Catriona, foster daughter Mary, brother Gerry, son in law Michael, daughter in law Karen, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Reposing at The Chapel of Rest adjoining The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix from 5pm on Tuesday evening with Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass in St.Brigid’s Church, Ballinakill, Co. Laois on Wednesday at 11am which can be viewed at http://www.ballinakillknockparish.com Burial afterwards in St.Brigid’s Cemetery, Ballinakill.

Ann Holohan (née Kelly)
Beladd, Portlaoise, Laois/Castlecomer, Kilkenny

Beladd, Portlaoise, Co. Laois and formerly of Barrack Street, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny.

Ann passed away on 15th September 2025, peacefully at Kilkenny Care Centre, Newpark, surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Jim Holohan (Levalley, Galmoy) and much loved mother of Deirdre, Justin and Damien.

Ann will be dearly missed by her loving family, sisters Catherine, Helen, Mary, Geraldine and Margaret, brothers Pat, Eamonn, Declan and John, daughters-in-law Samantha and Maria, grandchildren Christopher, Niamh, Ciara, Aoife, Jack, Matthew, Maisie and Samuel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Ann is predeceased by her parents Eddie and Ellen Kelly, Barrack Street, Castlecomer.

Reposing in Johnston’s Funeral Home, John’s Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Tuesday (16th Sept) from 5pm to 7pm pausing for Rosary and Prayers at 6pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Galmoy, Co. Kilkenny (E41W257).

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The Requiem Mass will be live streamed.  Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

Agnes McEvoy (née Dollard)
Marian Avenue, Portlaoise, Laois

Agnes McEvoy (nee Dollard), Marian Avenue, Portlaoise. Passed away peacefully on the 14th of September 2025 surrounded by her loving family at Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by her beloved husband John, brothers Paddy, Frank, Michael and sister Maura. Loving mother to Patrick, Joan and Jacqueline. She will be deeply missed by her sisters Betty and Anne, sons in law John and Noel, daughter in law Chris, grandchildren Nicola, David, Lynn, Lisa, Ciara, Conor and Megan, 11 adored great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Monday The 15th of September from 6:30 pm till 8 pm with rosary at 7:30 pm. Funeral mass will take place on Tuesday 16th at 11 am in SS Peter and Paul’s Church Portlaoise with burial afterwards in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery Portlaoise.

Maria Alberta (Mary) Brophy (née McCormack)
Portlaoise, Laois/Mountrath, Laois

Mary Brophy (née McCormack) formerly of Portlaoise / Mountrath and West Yorkshire passed away peacefully on the 6th of September 2025 surrounded by her loving family at home.

Predeceased by her beloved husband William (Billy) Brophy, son Thomas Patrick, predeceased brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by her loving family, sons and daughters Marie, Philomena, Catherine, Pauline, William, Bridget, Paul, Marion, Daniel and Anthony, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home Portlaoise on Tuesday evening 16th September from 6:30pm until 8pm with Rosary at 7:30pm. Removal on Wednesday 17th September to SS Peter and Pauls Church Portlaoise for Requiem Mass at 1pm followed by interment in Ss Peter and Pauls Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Jack Conroy
Drim, Mountrath, Laois

Jack passed away peacefully on the 14th September 2025, after short illness at his daughter’s residence, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents James and Elizabeth, sisters Mai, Maggie and Lilly.

Deeply regretted by his sons John, Kevin and James, daughters Yvonne, Annette and Lisa and their mother Ann, grandchildren Amy, Eóghan, Logan and William, brothers Jimmy and Fint, sisters Kathleen and Marian, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath on Tuesday evening 16th September from 6.0’clock until 8.0’clock, with Rosary at 7.0’clock. Removal on Wednesday morning 17th September to St. Edmund’s Church Castletown eircode R32KT22, for Requiem Mass at 11.0’clock, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Mountrath.
