Mary Donoghue (née O’Dea)

Formerly of Ballypickas, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois.
Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Christina and her brother Ned.
Mary passed away peacefully after an illness bravely borne, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Tullamore Regional Hospital.
Mary will be deeply missed by her beloved & devoted husband Peter, her loving family; sisters Margaret (Cocoman), Kathleen (Dalton), brothers John and Tony, brothers-in-law; Padraig and Michael, sisters-in-law; Rose, Fidelma and Mary, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Wednesday, the 24th day of September – Mary will repose at her home in Tara, (R35 KO28) from 4 pm until rosary at 8 pm.
Thursday, the 25th day of September – Mary’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Saint Colmcille’s Church, Durrow (R35 E924) at 10 am. Following mass, she will be laid to rest in the adjoining graveyard.

Richard (Dick) Holohan
Middlemount, Rathdowney, Laois/Roscrea, Tipperary
Richard (Dick) Holohan, Middlemount, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly Kennedy Park, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary, September 21st. 2025, peacefully at the Midland’s Regional Hospital Portlaoise surrounded by his loving family after a short illness. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Bridget, his late wife Kit, sister Mary, brother John and stepson Terry. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his son Ger, daughter-in-law Caroline, his adored grand daughters Lauren, Jess and Zara, brothers Tony, Denis, Joe and Noel, sisters Bride, Kathleen, Phil and Ber, stepdaughter Monica and her family, stepson Richard and his family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Wednesday evening September 24th. from 6 o’clock pausing for prayers at 8 o’clock. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Canice’s Church, Clough arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney. Seamus Behan
Esker More, Daingean, Offaly/Ballyfin, Laois
Late of Ballyfin, Co. Laois. Seamus passed away (peacefully) after a long illness bravely borne, at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Maureen. He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his family: wife Therese, children Sonia and her partner Conor, Karen, Stuart and his wife Elaine, grandchildren Jamie, Luke, Jack, Seanie, Noah, Charlotte and Lanah, brothers Donal, Tom and Val, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Seamus will repose at Larkin’s Funeral Home, Edenderry (R45 VK24) this Tuesday from 4pm to 7pm with Rosary at 7pm. His Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday at 11:00am in Mary Mother of God Church, Daingean followed by burial in Cloncrane Cemetery Clonbullogue.

Joseph Molloy, Elm Lawn, Portlaoise. And Formerly Rossmore Rd., Ballyfermot, 20th September 2025. Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Deeply regretted by his extended family, neighbours and friends, and his carers and home help team.
Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Tuesday from 5 pm until 6.30 pm. Cremation will take place at Newlands Crematorium on Wednesday at 12 noon.
