Elizabeth (Liz) Goor who resided at Parke House Nursing Home, Kilcock, formerly of The Fairways, Abbeyleix, died peacefully on 29th October 2025 at Connolly Hospital.
Loving mother to Nicky, Jenny, Alex, Ivan and Stefan. Much loved mother in law to Richard, Dave, Zoe, Jude and Dee. Granny/GG will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Josh, Jack, Hannah, Monty, Neva, Leo, Ruben and Matthew, and her great grandchildren Callum, Bella, Conor and Odhran, and also by her brother Nigel and sister Jane and their extended families.
Liz will repose at The George Mullins Funeral Home, Kilcullen Road, Naas, (W91 CD0K) on Friday 31st October from 6pm to 8pm.
A celebration of Liz’s life will take place at The Temple, Newlands Cross Crematorium on Saturday 1st Nov at 10am.
Donations, if desired, in lieu of flowers to the MS society of Ireland.

Predeceased by his wife Gretta and Son Billy. Dearly loved father to Mairead, Sharon, Desmond and Amanda and Uncle to his loving niece Geraldine (Duff). Cherished grandfather to Ciaran, Colin, Cormac, Ella, James, Cathy, Diana, Lydia, Sean, Liam, Julia, Jessica, Kate, Billy, Danny and Molly.
Deeply regretted by his loving family. Sons in law, Michael (Byrne), Patrick (McKenny), John (O’Connor) and Daughter in law Maeve. Nephews, nieces , relatives , many great neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at his family residence on Thursday 30th October from 6 pm until 10 pm with rosary at 9 pm. And Friday 31st October from 2pm to 9pm with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday 1st November to Ratheniska church for 12 noon requiem mass. Interment will take place in adjoining cemetery. House private please on Saturday morning

Peacefully surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Margaret. Much loved father of Patricia, Ger, Frank, Mary, Lynda and Helen.

Reposing in Keegans Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Thursday evening 30th October from 6.30pm – 8pm with Rosary Recital at 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Friday 31st October at 12 noon in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, which can be viewed on the Portlaoise Parish Webcam, followed by burial afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.

Josie Farrell (née) Morrissey, Foxhill, Athy, Co. Kildare, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday 27th October. Predeceased by her husband Ned, brother Johnnie, sister Maureen and nephew Declan.
Josie will be sadly missed by her sons, Gerry and Eamonn, grandchildren, Jamie, Scott and Emma, great grandchildren Cara and Jake, daughters-in-law Amy and Olivia, sister-in-law Lily, nephew, nieces, neighbours, relatives, extended family and friends.
Josie will repose in Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Wednesday 29th October 2025 from 3.30pm until removal at 5.45pm (with recital of the Rosary at 5.15pm) with reception prayers at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy at 6pm. Funeral Mass at 11am on Thursday 30th in St. Michael’s Parish Church. Followed by burial after in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery.
James (Jim) Hamilton

James (Jim) Hamilton of 33 Doonane Road, Crettyard, Co. Laois and formerly of Glasgow, Scotland, passed away peacefully surrounded by his friends, on the 26th of October 2025, at his home.
Pre-deceased by his dad James, Mam Isabella, brothers Tommy, Joe, Pat and Brian
He would be sadly missed by his loving brother Benny, sister Angela, sister-in-law Ann Marie, brother-in-law John, nieces, nephews, his beloved and treasured goddaughter Croía, relatives and a wide circle of friends
Reposing at his home 33 Doonane Road, Crettyard, Co. Laois (Eircode R93 C9P1) from 3pm on Thursday October 30th concluding with prayers at 8pm that evening. Removal from there on Friday morning at 10.30am to St. Abban’s Church, Doonane, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Carpenter Bros Cremation Chapel, Shamrock Sq, Carlow arriving for Cremation Service at 12.30pm

COUGHLAN (Cork) On 25th October 2025, peacefully, in the presence of her loving family and in the tender and exceptional care of the staff at CareChoice, Montenotte, MAURA (nee Phelan), Kenley Heights, Model Farm Road and late of Liam Healy Road, Fair Hill and Mountrath, Co. Laois.
Beloved wife of the late Bobby, much loved mother of Betty, Marie, Robert, Camilla, Rosita and the late Christy, devoted grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and dearest sister of Peg and Liz and the late Jim, Billy, Christy Jude and Kit.
Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Ben, Finbarr and Matt, daughters-in-law Marion and Elaine, brother-in-law Seamus, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Tuesday (28th October) from 10.00am, family in attendance from 4.00pm with Rosary Prayers at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (29th October) at 11.00am in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.

Passed away peacefully on the 25th October, 2025, in Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, under the loving care of the staff, with her loving son Kieran at her side.
Predeceased by her husband Fint, sisters and brothers.
Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving son Kieran, daughter-in-law Dee, her 5 grandchildren, her 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown, (Eircode R32TN84), this Monday evening (Oct 27th) from 6.30pm concluding with prayers at 7.30pm.
Removal from Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown on Tuesday morning (Oct 28th) at 10.45am to arrive at St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown (Eircode R32KT22) for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by interment in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Joey Tuohy, late of London, England. Formerly of Lakeglen and Marian Ave., Portlaoise. Passed away peacefully in the care of the North London Hospice.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Caroline. Step children Niamh, Shane and Robert. His brothers Frank, Jim, Mick and Noel. His Sisters, Margaret, Cathy, June, Angela and Ann. Deeply regretted by his cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his first wife Kay. His Mother Hannah and brother Patrick. Sister in laws Clare and Rosie.
