Dearly loved sister to John, Pascal, Mary, Tony, Kieran, Ann, Noel, Pat and David. Predeceased by her parents Séan and Peggy O`Brien (nee Rigney). Fondly missed by all her cousins, nephews, nieces, brother in law, sisters in law, relatives and especially all her colleagues and customers and friends In 4 Aces (BWG).
Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6.30 pm until 8.30 pm. Funeral to arrive for 2 pm requiem mass on Saturday in SS Peter and Paul’s Church. Interment will take place in SS Peter and Pauls Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Pauline Dunne, Clonrooske House, Portlaoise (R32H590), 6th November, 2025, peacefully at her family home surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Chris and Mary Dunne. Predeceased by her twin brother Peter, brothers Eddie and Bartle and sister-in-law Mary. Dearly loved sister to Mary, Christy, Pat and Ollie. Family friend Ray. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brother-in-law John, sisters-in-law Marian, Pauline and Maura, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins and many friends and neighbours.
Reposing at her family home on Friday from 4pm until 8pm with rosary at 7pm. Funeral arriving at St. Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin for 12 noon requiem mass on Saturday. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
May Tynan (née Flynn)
Fisherstown, Ballybrittas, Laois
May passed away peacefully in her 90th year in Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington in the company of her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Liam and her brother-in-law Denis Tynan, her twin brother Paddy, Bill, Jimmy, Mick, Lar and Joe. Sadly missed by her lovely daughters Elizabeth and Geraldine, sons-in-law Martin and William, sisters Theresa and Nancy, brothers John and Ned, grandchildren Martin, Shaun and Billy, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May will be reposing at her daughter Geraldine’s residence (R32 V0D7) on Friday 7th from 3pm to 8pm with recital of the rosary at 8pm. Removal by Whelehan Funeral Directors on Saturday morning at 11.20am to arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Rath for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Saint John’s cemetery, Killenard. (R32 VW77). House private on Saturday morning please.

Brendan (Barney) passed away on the 3rd November 2025, unexpectedly at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his son Shane. Sadly, missed by his beloved wife Tracy, daughter Tara and Leah, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Removal on Saturday morning 9th November to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath (eircode R32EC61), for Requiem Mass at 10.0’ clock, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.
