Caroline (Carol) Griffith (nee Carter) Ossory Hill, Johnswell, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Upper Crubbin, Ballyroan, Portlaoise, Co. Laois.
Carol passed away on 10th November 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her family, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved wife of Ernie and much loved mother of Avril, Liz, Pearl, Linda and Michelle. Carol will be dearly missed by her loving family, sisters Sadie, Hilda, Vera and June, brothers Harry, Billy and Robbie, sons-in-law George, Pat and John, her 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Predeceased by her parents George and Mona Carter and her son-in-law Seamus Hennessy.
Reposing at her home (R95AF88) on Tuesday (11th Nov) from 6pm and again on Wednesday (12th Nov) from 12noon with evening Prayers at 7pm.
Funeral Service on Thursday afternoon at 2pm in Mothel Parish Church, Coolcullen R95W253.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Predeceased by his sisters Blanche and Pat, brothers-in-law Paddy and Reg, deeply regretted by his brothers Donal, Jack and Liam, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family, friends, fellow residents and Brothers in Religion.
Br Theo generously donated his body to medical science. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday (19th Nov.) at 11.30am in Ss. Peter and Paul’s Parish Church, Baldoyle.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Christopher (Christy), Late of Cork and Portloaise, who passed away on 10th of November, peacefully after a short illness bravely borne, in the presence of his loving family in the wonderful care of Doctors, nurses and staff of Tullamore Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of Theresa, cherished father of Selina, Noreen, Joleen and stepson John, adored son of Donie. Predeceased by his aunts Celia and Gretta.
Sadly missed by his loving family, all his grandchildren, sons-in-law David, Paddy, Martin, brothers Donie, Willie, Joey, sister Noreen, sister-in-law Kathleen, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Maureen Hayes N.T. nee Cahill. Late of Sweetbriar Lawn , Tramore, Co. Waterford. Formerly of Ballacolla, Co. Laois
Maureen passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home, Sunday the 9th of November 2025. Predeceased by her beloved husband PJ; her brothers: Paddy and Son, and her sisters Cecilia and Katie.
Maureen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her heartbroken children John, Conor and Ciara, her adoring grandchildren Jack, Annabel, Conor, Oscar and Killian; her brother Tom; her sister Breeda; her daughters-in-law Andrea and Bernie and her son-in-law Gary. Maureen will be fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many friends.
The Hayes family would particularly like to thank The Waterford Palliative Care Team, the Hospice Night Nurses and all of those who cared for her in recent months.
Maureen’s reposal will take place in Falconer’s Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore X91TW21 on Wednesday the 12th of November from 6pm until 8pm.
All are welcome and refreshments will be served throughout.
Maureen’s Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday the 13th of November at 10am in The Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Beloved husband of Rhonda. He is survived by his nine children Catherine, Mary, Sean, Liam, Anne, Emma, Siobhan, Clare, Padraig, their spouses and partners Carlos, Carl, Gabrielle, Sally, Martin, Andreea, his 8 grandchildren and great grandchild, sister in law, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
He was predeceased by a grandchild and his 10 brothers and sisters.
