Paddy died peacefully at Brookhaven Nursing Home Ballyragget in his 95th year.
Formerly of Church Street Ballinakill.
He is predeceased by his parents James and Mary,brothers Joe and Tom and his sister Mary.
Deeply regretted by his brother Michael,sister Sr. Aine,sister in law Sheila,nephews,nieces,grandnephews and grandnieces relatives and friends.
Reposing in the Oratory at Brookhaven Nursing Home (R95 YP63) on Friday evening 5 December from 6pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6pm.
Funeral to arrive at St.Brigid’s Church Ballinakill on Saturday 6 December for Funeral Mass at 11am.
Burial afterwards in St.Brigid’s Cemetery.

Passed away peacefully on the 3rd December in the care of the staff of Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his brother Gerard. Deeply regretted by his wife Bernie, daughter Shirley, sons Joe and Michael, sisters Gearldine and Philomena, sister-in-law Catherine, granddaughters Lucy, Moya and Ruby, grandsons Donnacha, Eoghan and Tommy, son-in-law Joe, daughter-in-law Eva and Michael’s partner Sarah, cousins and friends.
Reposing in the Chapel of Repose adjoining the Church Of The Most Holy Rosary Abbeyleix from 5pm on Friday with prayers at 7pm. Removal to the Church Of The Most Holy Rosary Abbeyleix on Saturday for 11am. Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Derek Alcorn
Cappanarrow, Camross, Laois
The death has occurred of Derek Alcorn, Cappanarrow, Camross, Co. Laois and recently Beech Park Nursing Home, Kildare (2024).
Peacefully on the 4th December, 2025, at Naas General Hospital in the presence of his loving family.
Brother of Michael, and predeceased by his adoptive parents William John and Phoebe Danne, and his caring brothers and sisters.
Derek will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family, nieces, nephews, neighbours and large circle of friends.
Special thanks to the most wonderful staff at Beech Park Nursing Home and Naas General Hospital for their exceptional care of Derek.
Reposing at Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown, (Eircode R32TN84), this Saturday evening (Dec 6th) from 5.30pm to 8pm pausing for prayers at 7.30pm.
Removal from Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown this Sunday afternoon (Dec 7th) at 1.30pm to Annatrim Church, Coolrain, for Service at 2pm, followed by burial in adjoining Cemetery.
Mary Ryan (née Kildea)

Mary passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, while under the medical care of the staff of St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Mary will be sadly missed and is deeply regretted by her loving husband Jimmie, her sons and daughters Shay Gearóid, Finn and Aisling, her brother Andy and Mary Kildea, her brother in law, sisters in law, son in law Jason, daughters in law Joan and Theresa her cherished and adoring grandchildren Adam, Mark, Tim, Emily, Darcy and Jamie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Mary will repose in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow, Co. Laois (R32 CK11) on Thursday 4th December 2025 from 4pm concluding with recital of the Rosary at 7pm. Requiem Mass will be at 12pm on Friday 5th December 2025 with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Pad passed away peacefully on the 2nd December 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Helen, and his parents William and Mary-Ann, brothers Martin and Jim, sisters Mary and infant sister Sheila, son-in-law Paul (Finan). Loving father to Amanda, William, Loretta and Helena, cherished grandad to Shannon, Cullan, Billy, Rogan, Malachy, Lillian, Ross, Patrick, Gráinne, Helen and Andrew. P.J. passed away suddenly at his home on the 2nd of December 2025. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Sheila, brother Tim, sister-in-law Helen, and brother-in-law Paddy (Dowling).

MOORE (née Campion) Nuala (Celbridge, County Kildare and formerly of Mountrath Road, Portlaoise, County Laois) November 30th, 2025, peacefully, at The Mater Private Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Paddy, much loved mother of Tom, Sarah, Michael and Patrick and sister of Patsy and the late Mary, Joan, Hugh, Ned, Trish and Michael.
Sadly missed by her loving children, daughters-in-law Rose, Caroline and Emer, son-in-law Noel, grandchildren Ava, Jessica, Finn, Eoin, Cillian, Cian, Éanna, Tadhg and Paddy, brother, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
