Katelyn Cummins could soon have a glitterball trophy to go with her Rose of Tralee winners’ sash after she was backed into favourite to win Dancing with the Stars.
BoyleSports trimmed the odds on the Laois Rose into 6/4 (from 2/1) after she opened the latest live show with another solid performance on the dancefloor.
The Laois Rose added a 28-point haul to her table-topping 31 in week one to leave her top when the totals were added together.
The latest moves from Irish punters mean she has leapfrogged Ireland AM presenter and TikTok star Eric Roberts in the list of most likely winners.
With Tolu Makay and Philip Doyle both moving into contention following strong showings on the leaderboard.
The last laugh wasn’t to be with comedian and actor Michael Fry, who became the first contestant to be eliminated.
And the odds suggest both Niamh Kavanagh and Paudie Moloney are in danger of following in his footsteps by being the next dancer sent packing.
Brian O’Keeffe, spokesperson for BOYLE Sports said: “Laois Rose Katelyn is blossoming on the big stage again and with the bulk of the support heading her way this week, we have to make her the one to beat.”
