In Pictures: All smiles as Laois camogie come together to celebrate incredible 2025 season

It was standing room only in the Midlands Park Hotel last night as the Laois camogie family came together to celebrate.

2025 was one of the most memorable years in the history of camogie in Laois.

On the county scene, Laois claimed Premier All-Ireland glory and National League Division 3 success.

The minor team reached the A Shield All-Ireland final where they were just beaten Antrim.

But the U-16s had better luck as they reached the ‘B’ All-Ireland and triumphed against Kildare.

All three of those teams were recognised on the night while individual awards were also handed out.

Camross’s Andrea Scully was named Intermediate player of the year – playing a crucial role in her club’s Laois, Leinster and All-Ireland triumphs.

St Lazarians’ Kaylee O Keeffe was named Junior A player of the year while Catriona Downey of O Moore’s won Junior B.

The Minor A crown went to Lorraine Bergin of The Harps while Emily Creagh from St Brigid’s won Minor B.

Our photographer Alannah Foley was present on the night and captured some great images.
