This Saturday, January 31, Mountmellick Macra are set to travel to Ovens, Cork for Macra Capers.
Here, they will be competing against six other teams in a jam-packed 20-minute variety show filled with singing, dancing and comedy from start to finish.
Step inside Mountmellick Macra’s very own Grand Hotel, a place where anything can (and probably will) happen.
Expect a fast-paced mix of comedy, poetry, musical numbers and dance, all checking in under one very mischievous roof.
Choreographed by the fantastic Louise Ahern, the show celebrates creativity, courage and a great sense of fun — with plenty of laughs along the way.
For many of the cast, this is their first time ever stepping on stage, bravely stepping outside their comfort zones and proving that Macra is all about giving it a go, supporting one another and having the craic.
So as they grab their room keys and head for Cork, please wish the Mountmellick Macra team the very best of luck in Ovens this Saturday.
