Contain your excitement folks, but tickets for the Electric Picnic Music and Arts Festival will go on general sale tomorrow morning.

Organisers have kept us all guessing as to who will be performing in Stradbally Hall this September but the wait is almost over as the first raft of acts will also be announced tomorrow.

Tickets will also go back on sale at 9am from usual outlets that same morning, although the names on the bill won’t be revealed until later that day.

One point to note, however, is that Family Weekend Camping, Standard Campervan/Caravan and Family Campervan/Caravan tickets are now SOLD OUT.

Weekend camping tickets, Sunday tickets and early entry tickets will all be on sale at 9am on 23/3, and the installment plan will also be available this year.

Festival goers were treated to the likes of the Chemical Brothers, Lana Del Ray, LCD Soundsystem and Noel Gallagher in Stradbally Hall last year and they will be hoping that similar big names will be announced.

Electric Picnic takes place from September 1 to 3 in Stradbally Hall, Co. Laois.
