Business park and nursing home planned for Killeshin

A business park and a new 60-bed nursing home are being planned for Killeshin.

The planned ‘West Link Business Park’ will comprise 14 new buildings and one existing building.

The development will be accessed via the existing service road to the filling station off the Killeshin Road and a new internal road network.

The new development will be used to provide facilities for light industry, light engineering, bulky retail, storage and office facilities.

It is proposed to connect to existing services on site and provide all ancillary site services necessary at Ballykillen, Killeshin.

Planning permission is also being sought from Laois County Council for the development of a nurshing home at Ballykillen, Killeshin

Access to the proposed nursing home will be also be via the existing service road to the filling station off the Killeshin Road.

The application is being submitted by on behalf of Nursing Home Developments Ltd, c/o Pat Knowles and Associates.

The planning application can be inspected at the offices of Laois County Council, James Fintan Lalor Avenue.

Any submissions or observation may be made on the planned developments within five weeks of the date of receipt of application.
