Keith Wood’s consulting company has been signed up to develop a new five year strategy for Laois Tourism.
Clare-based W2 Consulting have been appointed by Laois Tourism to develop a new tourism strategy for the county.
Work is already underway through an industry survey to gather tourism trade feedback.
The responses will form part of the next number of stages of the consultation that will involve direct engagement with the Laois Tourism trade
The company has extended the survey to businesses and groups who stand to benefit from the development of tourism in the county.
They hope as many will participate in this survey to get ideas and views on the future direction of tourism and how it can develop into a key economic sector in Laois in the coming years.
There will be other opportunities to input to the process but W2 Consulting hope that many will contribute to what they describe as “this important first phase”.
