Brazen thieves made off with items including a ride-on lawnmower from Abbeyleix District Hospital over the weekend.
Gardai have appealed for witnesses and hope someone will have seen the items being transported.
“We are appealing for assistance from the public. Someone must have seen it being transported, probably on a trailer,” a garda spokesperson said.
Along with the ride-on lawnmower, a push lawnmower and power hose were also stolen during the theft.
The items are valuable and will cost thousands of euros to replace.
