Mental health engagement sessions in Portlaoise

A series of mental health engagement sessions are to be held in Portlaoise in August.

The sessions are aimed both at people who use mental health services and those who work with people who use mental health services.

The sessions are participation workshops so you can find out more or get involved in the development of a Local Forum to bring the voice of People who use Mental Health Services, Family Members and Carers into Mental Health Services.

The first session on August 16, is open to all mental health service users, family members, carers and supporters.

It will be held in the Link Centre, St Fintan’s Hospital, Dublin Road, Portlaoise from 10 am to 12.30 pm.

Another session will be held later that evening at the Triogue Centre, Bridge Street, Portlaoise from 7pm to 8.30pm.

A second session will be held on August 24 at the same times, in the same venues.

The engagement sessions will be held for those working with people who access the mental health services in the Link Centre from 12.30 to 2pm (drop in) on August 16 and at the same venue/time on August 24.
