Ballyfin Demesne nabs another gold medal award

Ballyfin Demesne continues to rack up the awards as it was again recognised at the 2017 Gold Medal Awards.

Winners of the awards, in association with Hotel & Catering Review magazine, were announced at an event in Kilkenny’s Lyrath Estate.

Ballyfin won the gold medal for Ireland’s Five Star Boutique Hotel.

Last year the hotel was named as the best in the world in the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards.

Ballyfin Demesne was also recently voted as the fourth best resort in Europe, according to the influential US travel magazine, Travel + Leisure.

The five star hotel has consistently garnered awards from around the world.

With only twenty rooms for the 614 acre estate, this 5 star luxury hotel is described as the perfect place for a break from the stresses of the modern world.

The hotel promises to provide discretion and privacy like few other destinations.

The recent Gold Medal awards saw Kelly’s Resort Hotel in Co. Wexford named Gold Medal Supreme Winner, the main award of  the evening.

It was also named ‘Ireland’s Family Friendly Hotel’.

This is the latest accolade for Ballyfin following a couple of significant awards.
