Should the Laois senior hurlers finish in the top two places in the new Tier 2 competition next year, they could be forced to play in an All-Ireland Preliminary quarter final BEFORE playing the Tier 2 final. Central Council delegate Brian Allen broke the seemingly ludicrous news to delegates at last night’s County Committee meeting….
