Fintan Parkinson, Kent, England, and late of Cromogue, Mountrath, Co.Laois. Died 24th October 2017 in England. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife Peggy, sons Fintan and Martin, sisters Mary, Nora, Ellen, and Kathleen, brother Ned, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath, on Thursday evening from 7 o’clock, with Rosary at 9 o’clock. Removal on Friday morning to St. Fintan’s Church Raheen, for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock, followed by burial in Cromogue Cemetery.

Laurence Mooney. Sue Ryder Home, Kilminchy, Portlaoise. And formerly Dublin, November 3rd 2017, Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Deeply regretted by his loving family.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Wednesday evening with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 10am Requiem Mass. Cremation will take place afterwards in Newlands Cross Crematorium. Family flowers only , donations if desired to Sue Ryder Home Portlaoise.

Yvonne Thompson, neè Bennett, Borohan, Errill, Co. Laois. November 6th 2017, peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Yvonne, predeceased by her husband Richard (Dixie), deeply regretted by her family, Heather, Edward, Rhona, Richard and Robert, sons-in-law John and Will, daughters-in-law Olive, Joan and Angela, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister Vera, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at her residence (Borohan) from 3pm this Tuesday evening. Funeral Service on Thursday in Rathsaran Church at 1:30pm followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu to B.C.N.(Bible Centered Ministries).

Irishtown, Mountmellick, Laois

Ann (Nancy) Moloney, Irishtown, Mountmellick and previously of The Gaelic Bar, Mountmellick died 5th November 2017. Beloved wife of the late Michael. Deeply regretted by her family John, Michael, Maura and Helen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home on Monday from 4pm until removal at 7.50pm to St. Joseph’s Church arriving at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon. Burial after in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Mellick, Rosenallis, Laois

Died peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St Vincent’s Hospita Mountmellick. Reposing in her home on Monday from 5pm with removal to St Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis arriving from 7pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Brigid’s cemetery.

Bill Perryman
late of Chicago, Clontarf, Dublin/Laois

Bill Perryman, Clontarf, (and late of Chicago) 3rd November 2017, (Peacefully) at the Mater Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Loving, devoted and much loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend, partner and teammates. Sadly missed by his Mam Mary, Johnny, Helena and Gráinne and partner Aifric, uncles, aunts and cousins. Predeceased by his loving father William and grandad Bart (O’Rourke), will be greatly missed by a wide circle of friends, especially his teammates at Clontarf GAA, Belgrove & CUS, and college friends.

Reposing at his home (Monday 6th November) from 4.0’clock to 7.0’clock. Funeral Mass on (Tuesday) morning at 11.30a.m. in St. Gabriel’s Church, Clontarf, followed by cremation at 2.30p.m. in Glasnevin Crematorium. No flowers please, donations if desired to Pieta House

Wife of the Late Patrick. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Mary, Kate and Jo, son John, sisters Pauline and Josephine, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Reposing at her residence from 10am on Monday morning (6th November) with Rosary at 9pm. Removal by Rigney’s Funeral Director’s to St. Anne’s Church, Ballylynan for Requiem Mass at 2pm on Tuesday afternoon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to M S Ireland. House private on Tuesday morning please.

Dr John Francis McCormack
Howth, Dublin/Portlaoise, Laois

McCormack (Howth and formerly of Kellyville, Portlaoise) 3rd, November 2017 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the doctors and nursing staff of the Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin. Dr. John Francis beloved husband of Katherine (Kitty) and loving father of Sinead and Jacqueline and much loved grandad (Nonno) of Emily and Giovanni. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, son-in-law Beniamino (Mino), nieces, nephews, relatives and his many friends in Dublin and Rosslare.

Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Monday (Nov. 6th) and Tuesday (Nov. 7th). Removal on Wednesday (Nov. 8th) at 9.25 o’clock to the Church of the Assumption, Howth for 10 o’clock Mass and Funeral afterwards to St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Irish Heart Foundation. House private.

Died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his loving mother Mary Glynn. Sadly missed by his father James, brother James and sister Fiona, nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours and a large circle of family and friends. Reposing on Saturday in The Chapel of Rest at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise from 5pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Sunday at 12 noon to St. Peter & Paul’s Church, Portlaoise arriving for 12.30 Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
