Hurling trials to form a Laois minor hurling team for 2018 are continuing this weekend.
The next session for lads born in 2001 and 2002 is on Sunday November 12 at the Training Centre at 9.45am.
The first trial took place last weekend and there are further trials planned for November 19 and 26.
The make-up of the U-17 management team was confirmed a number of weeks ago.
This is the first time Laois will enter this competition as they chose not to do so last year.
Ballyfin’s Enda Lyons will be the manager and he will be joined by Ollie Hally, JJ McHugh and Chris Hartnett as selectors – with another one who has not yet been confirmed.
Michael Boyhan will once again assume the role of strength and conditioning coach while David O’Brien will be team secretary.
