Laois Macra na Feirme are holding a photo competition every month for a year to find the best photos of Laois.
This month’s competition theme is ‘Christmas on the farm’ and entries are already coming in thick and fast.
You don’t have to be a Macra na Feirme member to enter and each monthly winner will receive a two-hour photo lesson with well-known photographer Alf Harvey.
In November 2018 they will be exhibiting all of their photos and pick an overall winner.
The overall winner will receive a two night stay in the fabulous five-star Castlematyr hotel.
The competition aims to promote farming in Laois.
