St Paul’s NS table quiz

St Paul’s NS Mountmellick are holding a table quiz in Turley’s Bar at 8.30pm.

Macra Panto 

Mountmellick Macra Panto is launching their performance of ‘Aladdin’ tonight in the Macra Hall in Mountmellick.

Raheen Vintage Club table quiz 

Raheen Vintage club are holding a table quiz in Eamon A’Chnoic, Raheen, at 8.30pm. All proceeds are in aid of Raheen Senior Citizens Party.

SATURDAY 3 FEBRUARY 

Laois Hunt Ball

The annual Laois Hunt Ball takes place in the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel this Saturday. The evening will include a five course meal and live music from Vegas Nights. There will be a champagne reception from 7.30pm.

Mountmellick Dinner Dance

The Mountmellick GAA Dinner Dance is being held in the Killeshin Hotel tonight from 7.30pm.

Castletown-Slieve Bloom minor awards night

The Castletown-Slieve Bloom minor panel are celebrating this year’s success with an awards night in the ICA Hall in Castletown from 9.30pm.

Camross Parish Social 

The February Parish Social will take place from 9pm to 12.30pm.

SUNDAY 4 FEBRUARY 

Ballyfin Walk 

The annual Ballyfin GAA 6k walk takes place through the grounds of Ballyfin Demesne at 11.30am.

Laois Birdwatch walk

Laois Birdwatch will be joining with members of the Westmeath branch to Lough Iron, Westmeath, to see water fowl and White Fronted Geese. They are leaving from the Laois County Council offices at 10am.

Rathdowney Family Fun Cycle

Rathdowney Activity Hub are starting their Family Fun Cycle event this weekend at 10am. For more information on the cycle, ring James on 086 7962177.
