A unique opportunity as a 190 acres farm up for long-term lease in Laois

A large block of land, 190 acres in total, has come up for lease in Laois.

The land will go up for lease by auction, and has a guide price of €185 per acre for the duration of 10 years.

The exact location of the farm is at Ashfield, Ballinagall, Tinnasragh, Ballickmoyler, Co Laois.

The farm is 10km from Carlow town, and six kilometres outside Ballylinan.

It will be up for lease in three lots of 112 acres, 52 acres and 25 acres.

The first lot contains 112 acres of prime grassland, and is all in an entire block.

Farm buildings are available with the lot but at an additional price, and the buildings can accommodate up to 160 livestock and a six unit milking parlour.

The second lot extends to 52 acres and is situated just beside the first section.

The land extends along the main road, is currently set in grass and a cattle crush and water supply are available.

The final lot is the smallest holding of the lost, with 25 acres. Like the other two lots, this block of land is currently in grass and it has livestock handling facilities.

The lands will go up for lease by public auction at 3pm on Friday, 16th of February in Coogan Auctioneer’s auction rooms at Ballycomey House, Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny.
