It’s open 24 hours days, 365 days a year and has recently been ranked in the top six Centra convenience stores in the country.
Recently revamped, the incredibly busy Downey’s Centra on the Dublin Road in Portlaoise have introduced the Green Kitchen to their Deli as well as the Centra Beat the Queue App.
Beat the Queue is an online ordering app/site where customers can browse and order from the stores select range.
The customer can order and pay online, then pop into the store and collect their order from the designated collection area at their chosen time, whilst also being rewarded for their loyalty through in app vouchering. This is a great app if you are strapped for time.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is available from the Downey’s Centra Deli as well as freshly cooked 12″ pizzas, which are on special at €5 till the 21st of March.
If you feel like cooking yourself there is a wide variety of meats, fresh veg and sauces with a Weekly 3 for €10 in meats and 3 for €2 in Fruit and Veg.
