It is a very busy day on the GAA front and we will be around the country in force to bring you all the action as it happens.

We will have reporters in O’Connor Park Tullamore, Aughrim in Wicklow and Stradbally as the Laois hurlers, footballers and ladies footballers are in action.

The first of the three games throws in at 1pm as the Laois hurlers look to make in back-to-back wins in Division 1B.

They travel to O’Connor Park to face old rivals Offaly who are coming off the back of heavy defeats against Galway and Limerick.

This game was originally fixed for 12.30pm but due to a frosty pitch, throw in has been delayed by 30 minutes.

The remaining two games throw in at 2pm. The Laois footballers are off to Aughrim to play Wicklow.

John Sugrue’s men will go into the game as favourites having won their previous three games but Wicklow will undoubtedly be buoyed by their draw with Antrim two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, the Laois Ladies are still searching for their first win in Division 2 after suffering three defeats so far.

They face Clare in what now looks like a must in game if they want to give themselves a chance of avoiding the drop to Division 3.

With the weather expected to remain dry and sunny all day, we are looking forward to three high quality encounters.
