Kavanagh’s all set for annual Cheltenham Preview Night

Kavanagh's are all set for the Cheltenham Preview night

It is the highlight of the year for horse racing fans – and it is less than a week away.

The Cheltenham Festival begins on Tuesday and ahead of that, there is a brilliant night in store in Kavanagh’s Bar & Lounge on Thursday.

Matt Chapman from At The Races will lead the star-studded panel of guests at the Cheltenham Preview night.

Chapman – of Yee-Haw! fame – will be joined by trainer Davy Condon, jockey Sean Flanagan and racing journalist Niall Cronin.

Davy Condon is the right hand man to Gordan Elliott and is also a former jockey.

Flanagan will be riding at Cheltenham and has a good shout in the Gold Cup on Friday should he choose to go with Road To Respect.

Doors open at 7.30pm with the event beginning at 8pm. A small number of tickets are still available and are priced at €18.

PJ Kavanagh said: “We’re really looking forward to what should be a great night.

“It is great to get the chance to get the views of men that know the game inside out.

“You’ll also get a free pint of Guinness and a matched bet from our friends in Boylesports.”
