When will this ever end?

Many of us went to bed last night after celebrating St Patrick’s Day and didn’t expect to wake up to this.

Met Eireann forecasted a Yellow snow warning for Laois but instead we got much more.

The Midlands Weather Channel predicted this would happen though and in fairness to them, they were right.

In their latest update, they say it will remain bitterly cold for the day.

They say: “Outbreaks of snow will continue this morning over many parts of Leinster, and East Munster, with further accumulations likely in places.

“The showers will gradually ease off later this afternoon and this evening. Feeling bitterly cold with highs of between -1 to 2 degrees Celsius.”

Sounds lovely! Anyway, what else can we do than take and share pictures of our part of Laois covered in snow?
