Golf Classic in aid of Cuisle Centre aiming to raise much needed funds

Competitors from the Cuisle Centre Golf Classic in 2017

The third annual Cuisle Centre Golf Classic takes place this Friday April 27 in The Heritage Golf Club Killenard.

Last year the event raised over €20,000 for The Cuisle Centre in Portlaosie that is totally dependent on events like this to operate from year to year.

In conjunction with the event is a raffle with some outstanding prizes including a King Koil Bed worth €1,500 and a Queen Anne Chair by event sponsors Finline Furniture worth €750.

Also on offer in the raffle are nights away in some of Ireland’s top hotels, a dinner for two in the Exclusive Ballyfin Resort plus Shaw’s Department Stores and dinner vouchers.

Raffle tickets, which are €5 each for anyone wishing to support the event, are available from Kilminchy Pharmacy Portlaoise or Finline Furniture Showrooms in Emo.

Raffle prize winners will be drawn this Friday at 9pm following golf in The Heritage Hotel Killenard.

Congratulations and thanks to the many sponsors that are supporting the event for a great local charity.

The Cuisle Centre was founded in 2004. It is a registered charity offering professional support to people diagnosed with cancer and to their families.
