Laois hotel among the winners at Irish Hospitality Awards

The Midlands Park Hotel was among the winners at the second Irish Hospitality Awards at  the Crowne Plaza in Dublin on Tuesday of this week.

The Irish Hospitality Awards 2018 are a celebration of the success of local professionals and establishments. The winners are a true reflection of high standard and customer service as they are chosen by members of the general public.

The black tie event was hosted by Klara McDonnell and the Portlaoise-based hotel won the award for ‘Hotel Team of the Year’.

She welcomed on stage talented individuals and businesses from the hospitality sector, acknowledged for constantly delivering memorable experiences and high-quality services to their clients.

Several of the awards were split into local regions to ensure the diverse range of hospitality businesses from across Ireland are recognised for their exceptional work.

Irfan Younis, CEO of Creative Oceanic, said: “We are honoured to have welcomed such great finalists and winners representing the Irish hospitality industry at the Irish Hospitality Awards this year.

In addition, the awards supported the Make-A-Wish Ireland, whose aim is to grant wishes of children fighting life-threatening conditions.
