Carlow Cup glory for Crettyard and all today’s soccer results

An exciting new venture for the Midlands Schoolboys League

The lads in Crettyard United are celebrating tonight after winning the Carlow Premier Cup.

Up against Carlow side New Oak, Crettyard triumphed by 3-1 to claim the title.

It was some consolation for Crettyard who just missed out on winning the league as they were pipped by Hannover Harps.

While in Kilkenny, there was disappointment for Colver United in the Billy Leahy Memorial Cup.

They went down 3-2 to Freebooters B but can still win the league in the weeks ahead.

Meanwhile, in the CCFL, the biggest game of note came came in the Combined Counties Cup semi final.

Rosenallis have qualified for the final after defeating Gentex on penalties and will now play Birr Town in the final.
