Martin died suddenly at his residence. He is deeply regretted by his sister Mary, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence from 8pm this Tuesday evening. Rosary on Wednesday evening at 5.30pm followed by removal by Malone’s Funeral Directors to St. Anne’s Church, Ballylinan arriving at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am. Burial immediately afterwards in Arles Cemetery, Co. Laois.

Mary Murphy (née Brophy)
Kilmanman, Clonaslee, Laois

Mary Murphy (nee Brophy). Kilmanman, Clonaslee, Laois. Died peacefully at her residence, June 18th 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John and daughter Teresa. Cherished mother of Jimmy, Margaret and Mary. She will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Marie, sons-in-law Tom, Billy and Seamus. Fondly remembered by her loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her residence with removal on Wednesday evening at 8.30pm arriving at St. Manman’s Church, Clonaslee at 9.00pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial in St. Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee

James Brennan
Green View, Mountmellick Rd, Portlaoise, Laois

The death has occurred of James Brennan, Green View, Mountmelick Rd Portlaoise on June 16th 2018 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. James beloved husband of Susan and dearly loved father to James, Christopher, Sally, and Patrick. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brother Andrew; family partners, Margaret, and David, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends, Rest in Peace Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home from 7 pm on Tuesday evening with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to SS Peter and Paul’s Church Portlaoise for 10 am requiem mass. Cremation will follow afterwards in Newlands crematorium at 12.30. Family flowers only donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society

Andrew (Andy) Doogue, Clonad, Portlaoise, Co.Laois. – Died 16th June 2018 at St. Vincent’s Hospital Mountmellick. Predeceased by his wife Annette, deeply regretted by his sons Patrick and Eddie, daughter Una, grandchildren Patrick and Jonathan, daughter-in-law Lorraine, son-in-law Vikram, brother-in-law Fr. Eddie Lalor C.C. Portlaoise, P.J., sister-in-law Eleanor, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at his son Patrick’s residence (Clonad Cross), from 2pm on Wednesday, with removal at 7pm to St. Fintan’s Church, Raheen, arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon, followd by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Buggy
10 The Green, Kilminchy, Portlaoise/Timahoe, Laois

Mary Buggy (formerly of Kyle, Timahoe, Co. Laois). Deeply regretted by her sons Patrick and Brian, daughters Claire and Fiona, her grandchildren Ruth, Olivia, Luke, Adam, Chloe, Patrick, Aine, Davina, Dan and Tom.

Reposing at her residence from 7pm on Monday (18th June) with Rosary at 8pm. Removal at 6.30pm on Tuesday evening to arrive at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Timahoe for 7.30pm. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Wednesday followed by burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Timahoe.

Ann D’Arcy
Sarsfield Street, Mountmellick, Laois

The death has occurred of Ann D’Arcy, peacefully at The Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Pre-deceased by her sister Mavis (Dollard), brothers John, Sheamus, Jerome and Fr.Brian, Holy Ghost Fathers, cousin of Canon Frank McEvoy, Maynooth. Deeply regretted by her cousins, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Alice Feery (née McDonald)
59 Pattison Estate, Mountmellick, Laois

Died peacefully at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by her son Patrick and her sister Eileen Nolan Portarlington. Deeply regretted by her husband Paddy and family Linda, David, Fiona, and Gavin, grandchildren, sister Ann McEvoy Graigueafulla Clonaslee, neices, nephews, neighbours, relatives and many friends. Reposing in the home of her daughter Fiona at Davitt Road from 5pm this Monday evening. Recital of The Rosary at 9pm. Removal from her home in Patterson’s Estate at 11.30am on Tuesday morning arriving for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Burial after in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. House private on Tuesday morning please.
