From the middle of August the countdown to ‘Back to School’ is well and truly on.
But it’s still an important time to enjoy the last couple of weeks of summer.
We’ve dug into our archives once again this week and uncovered some great photos from a Graiguecullen GAA Family Fun Day in 2010.
Alf Harvey was out and about as usual and his photos paint a picture of a well-organised day, complete with a wonderful community atmosphere.
Club chairman Tony O’Sullivan certainly led the way in getting into the spirit of things – as the photos of him being drenched with a bucket of water (even by his daughter Fiona in one) clearly show!
It was a day for all ages – made all the better by the glorious weather.
