Popular Portlaoise woman wins big on Winning Streak

Mary Flynn with Marty Whelan on Winning Streak

Fair play Mary, you did us proud!

Mary Flynn from Portlaoise appeared on Ireland’s most popular game show this evening – Winning Streak.

The Portlaoise Hospital worker was joined by her friends and family in the audience – chiefly her husband Pat and her son Kieran.

Her daughter Helen has recently emigrated to Australia and she sent in a video wishing her mam luck which was shown on the show.

Speaking to Marty Whelan, Mary revealed how she intended to spend her winnings by taking her friend Debbie to Medjugorje for a holiday.

She first played Winfall where she won €14,000 and then guessed correctly in the High-Low game to help her team win €25,000 – increasing her overall winnings to €19,000.

Mary managed to reveal one wheel in the final game but she was not lucky with the ball machine and didn’t get a chance to spin the wheel.

So Mary finished with €19,000 and will definitely be able to take that trip to Bosnia!

Fair play Mary!!
