There is plenty of action in the Laois LGFA scene on this Bank Holiday Monday as the minor championships come to a close.
First up, Killeshin took on The Heath in the ‘B’ shield final at 11am this morning.
St Joseph’s and St Brigid’s were then due to clash in the ‘B’ championship decider.
But this local derby was postponed following a bereavement and will be refixed at a later date.
Meanwhile, the ‘A’ championship final sees two incredibly strong sides, St Paul’s versus Ballyroan go head to head in the LOETB Centre of Excellence at 2.40pm.
St Paul’s have a number of players from their junior championship winning side, while Ballyroan see a fair few of the division 2 league winning side line out on this minor team.
Later on this evening Sarsfields and Portlaoise will be mirroring the senior championship final as they play off the ‘A’ shield final in Rosenallis at 6pm.
But we will bring you all the updates from the A final between St Paul’s and Ballyroan.
