Appeal launched to locate stolen jeep, trailer and 60 lambs

Stolen jeep

A young Laois man has launched an appeal to locate his father’s stolen jeep.

The vehicle, which had a trailer containing 60 lambs attached to it, was stolen in Graiguecullen this afternoon around 4pm.

The owner had gone in to a petrol station across the road from Aldi in Graiguecullen to pay for diesel but when he returned, the jeep had been stolen.

The jeep is a silver Ford with registration number 09-DL-2797.

Peter Kealy took to his Facebook page this evening to ask people to help locate it.

The St Joseph’s and Laois U-20 footballer said: “Lads can you all keep an eye out for this jeep and trailer around.

“It was stolen from a petrol station in Grauigecullen this evening at 4pm. Please share, it would be greatly appreciated.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact their local Garda Station.
