Laois artists to perform huge concert for three very worthy causes

A huge concert featuring Laois artists is due to take place for three very worthy organisations next year.

Kolbe Special School, the Cuisle Centre, and Nakhon Si Thammarat Home For Boys in Thailand are all set to benefit from the concert on either January 12th or March 22nd.

The Dunamaise Arts Centre will host Curtis Walsh, Joe S, Stephen Kelly, Steppin’ Her Out and Nova to raise funds for the groups.

Organiser Fionn Marum’s band Nova will also be performing on the night, and he picked the Nakhon Si Thammarat Home For Boys in Thailand as that is where his youngest brother is from.

Joe S performed at Electric Picnic this year, while Steven Kelly appeared on Ireland’s Got Talent in 2018.

Curtis Walsh has been making huge waves with his two new singles Full Recovery and Perfect Rain.

While the Irish trad group based in Galway – Steppin’ Her Out –  features Laois man Thomas Connolly as a sean-nós dancer my band

Speaking about the event, Fionn said: “It is billed as local artists raising much needed funds for important charities, and in Kolbe’s case, overlooked services, as well as changing the lives of hundreds of children in a far off country also.”
