In Pictures: Down Syndrome Centre Midlands host successful table quiz

A recent table quiz for the Midlands Down Syndrome Centre was a huge success with major funds raised.

Eamon Whelan was the driving force behind it who runs the Dunamase antiques on the Main St.

Eamon had a brother with Down Syndrome who died a couple of years ago at a great age.

Patricia Fayne the Centre Co-ordinator said ” This group has supported us over the last few years and we are very grateful for all the work that goes into organising the quiz every year”.

Eamon is supported by a brilliant committee that do fantastic work to help organise the quiz which is held in the Rock Inn every year.

The Dunamase Table Quiz Committee had their Annual Table Quiz in aid of the DSC Midlands on the 5th of October 2018.

A huge sum of €2,079.95 was raised on the night and was presented to the Midlands Down Syndrome Centre recently.
