Roche, John, Mountrath Road, Portlaoise, Dec 18th 2018 Passed away peacefully. (ex ESB) Predeceased by his son John. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary. sons Pascal, Peter and Christy, daughters Mary, June and Jacinta ( Cindy) , brother Jimmy. Also John, Frank, Mary, Ann, Catherine. Sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home on Thursday from 6.30 pm with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Friday to SS Peter and Paul’s Church to arrive for 10 am Requiem Mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Crossan, St. Brigid’s Place, Portlaoise and formerly Shaen, Portlaoise. Dec. 18th 2018. Peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Ballard Lodge Nusing Home. Paddy, beloved husband of the late Colette. Deeply regretted by his loving sons, Michael, Padraig and Kieran, sister Pauline, daughters-in-law. Brother in law. Grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6.30 pm, with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 10am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Formerly Clonaslee County Laois and Walsh Island County Offaly. Peacefully after a long illness at Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Seamus, sons P.J.,Gussie and Paul, daughters Patricia and Lisa, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Mahers Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Tuesday from 7:30pm with Rosary at 9pm. Reposing on Wednesday from 4pm with Removal at 6pm arriving Church of The Immaculate Conception, Walsh Island at 7pm (via The Pike Road). Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Family Flowers Only Please. Donations If Desired To Portarlington Lourdes Invalid Fund.

Ann Grincell, “Spring Gardens” Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 17th December 2018 (peacefully), at the home of her sister Madelene Crowley. Deeply regretted by her brother Jim, sister Madelene, nephews, niece, grandnephews, grandniece, relatives, neighbours, and may friends.

Reposing at the home of her sister Madelene at (Cappakeel, Emo) on Tuesday 18th December, from 2pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving for Requiem Mass at 2.30pm in St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath on Wednesday, 19th December, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Shankill, Dublin / Clonaslee, Laois 

Ita Gaughan (née Troy) of Shankill, Co. Dublin and formerly of Clonaslee, Co. Laois, passed away peacefully in her 96th year on Monday, 17th December, 2018 at Roseville Nursing Home, Bray, beloved wife of the late Paddy and loving mother of the late Noel; sadly missed by her children Eamon, Brian, Marie, Kevin and sister Anna together with their families, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday evening, 20th December, from 7.30pm to 9.00pm with prayers at 8.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, 21st December at 12.00noon in St. Anne’s Church, Shankill followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday with rosary recital on Tuesday evening at 8:00. Removal on Wednesday morning at 9:00am to arrive at Ss Peter & Paul’s Church for 10:00am requiem mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter & Paul’s Cemetery.
