2018 was a brilliant year for all involved in Portlaoise GAA.
The Senior footballers claimed the Jack Delaney Cup for the 11th time in the last 12 years as they defeated O’Dempsey’s in October.
Meanwhile, the club’s hurlers enjoyed a bumper year with two championship successes.
The Junior C’s defeated Ballyfin in the championship final before the Senior A’s did likewise.
They saw off The Harps and then went on a run through Leinster which saw them reach the intermediate final.
There, Graigue-Ballycallan proved just that bit too strong for them but they will now step up to the senior grade next year.
Players and members assembled in the Killeshin Hotel on New Year’s Eve to celebrate their success.
Ger Cullen was there on the night and he captured some brilliant pictures.
