In Pictures: Huge crowd at Laois Ladies Presentation Night

O’Loughlin’s Hotel was the place to be on Friday night.

2018 was a very positive year for the Laois Ladies football teams and that was celebrated.

Meanwhile the U16 Laois side will cherish both Leinster and All-Ireland ‘B’ runners-up medals.

Paul Mulhall’s side overcame Meath in the Leinster ‘B’ final before eventually losing out to Mayo in the All-Ireland final.

Way back in May of 2018, a sizzling second half crowned Laois Leinster U-14 C champions.

A cracking performance and last minute goal clinched the minor intercounty side success against Wexford in the Leinster ‘C’, after a loss against Dublin put them into the ‘C’ final.

The intermediate Laois ladies side overcame Wicklow to win the Leinster championship in July of this year.

Leinster president Dominic Leech was there to present the medals on the night.

Our photographer Julie Anne Miller went along and she snapped some great pictures.
