The sudden death of baby Sheila Cash, Dangenroe, Castletown, Co. Laois on Sunday 10th March 2019. Reposing at her residence tomorrow, Tuesday, 12th March, from 7pm. Removal to the Church of St. Edmunds, Castletown on Wednesday, 13th March, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr, Co. Offaly.

Precious daughter of Samantha and Keith Cash, adored baby sister of Kelsea, Amanda and Annaliz, her loving great-grandmother, nannys and grandad, uncles, aunts, cousins, God parents and extended family.

Clondalkin, Dublin / Portarlington, Laois

Farrell, Wayne, 9th March 2019. Suddenly, Late of Portarlington and Monksfield, Clondalkin. Beloved son of Charlie and Marjorie, loving brother of Charles, Darren and Dean. Sadly, missed by his heartbroken parents, brothers, Godson Ryan, nephews Daire, Jamie and Hudson, nieces Destiny and Kayley, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.

Reposing at his brother Charles’ home on Tuesday from 4pm. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Assumption, Ballyfermot arriving for 10am Mass. Funeral afterwards to Palmerstown Cemetery.

John Ging
Mountrath Rd., Portlaoise, Laois

Ging, Mountrath Rd., Portlaoise, 11th March 2019. Peacefully at St. Vincent’s Hosp. John (Snr), dearly loved husband to Phyllis and loving father to John, Fergal, Marcus, Paddy, Aisling, Róisín and Ronan. Cherished granddad to his 15 grandchildren. Deeply regretted by his loving family, sisters Nan, Rose, and Teresa, brothers Paddy and Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, former colleagues in Laois County Council and the Fire Service.

May he rest in peace

Reposing at his family residence from 4pm on Tuesday with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 10am Requiem Mass. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Kathleen Phelan (née Gleeson)
Drumcondra, Dublin / Castletown, Laois

Phelan (nee Gleeson), Drumcondra and formerly of Cuddagh, Castletown, Co. Laois, March 11th 2019, peacefully, at Beneavin House Nursing Home Glasnevin, Kathleen, beloved wife of the late Paddy and mother to the late Gerard and Baby Phelan. Kathleen will be sadly missed by the Clarke, Phelan and Kelly families, relatives, neighbours, carers and friends.

Reposing at The Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West, from 3pm Tuesday until removal at 4.30pm to Corpus Christi Church, Homefarm Rd, arriving at 5pm. Funeral on Wednesday, after 10am Requiem Mass, to Dardistown Cemetery.

Noel died on March 9th 2019, suddenly, at The Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore. He is formerly of Graigafulla, Clonaslee, Co. Laois and is predeceased by his father Sean. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Marian, sons Alan and Darren, daughter Lisa, daughter in law Stacey, granddaughter Emily, Darren’s partner Ciara, mother Phyllis, brothers Dermot and Aidan, sisters Linda, Helen, Cora, Yvonne, Caroline and Aisling, mother in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Mary Tynan (nee Lalor) Clontyglass, Portlaoise. Died peacefully 10th of March at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise (retired general nurse). Beloved wife of the late Donal. Deeply regretted by her loving family Declan, Geraldine, Adrian and Caroline, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, extended family relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in the Chapel of Rest at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise from 5 o’clock Monday evening. Removal at 6:15pm to St. Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin, arriving at 7 o’clock. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Ballyfin.

John (Andy) Prior
Ballyboden, Ballacolla, Laois

Suddenly at his residence. Predeceased by his brother Peter. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Joan, Mary, Sheila and Kathleen, brother Donal, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at his brother Donal’s house (Ballyboden) from 2.00pm on Tuesday with Rosary at 8.00pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Tighearnach’s Church, Cullohill for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial immediately afterwards in Durrow Cemetery. House private on Wednesday morning please.

James (Jim) Fitzpatrick
Hartstown, Dublin / Castleknock, Dublin / Dunshaughlin, Meath / Laois

James (Jim) (Hartstown), Dublin 15 and formerly of Castleknock, Dunshaughlin and Killinure, Co. Laois) March 7th, 2019 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, Phoenix Park. Beloved husband of the late Helen and much loved father of Gerard, Elizabeth, Donal, Alan and Helen.

Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. R.I.P.

Reposing at his home on Saturday from 6pm to 8pm and on Sunday from 2pm to 8pm. Removal to St. Ciaran’s Church, Hartstown on Monday afternoon arriving for Requiem Mass at 1pm followed by burial in Mulhuddart Cemetery.
