Laois seconday school gearing up for All-Ireland Volleyball Finals

One Laois secondary school will have two teams competing in the All-Ireland Volleyball finals this week.

Mountrath Community School are heading for University of Limerick on Thursday April 4 to bid for All-Ireland glory.

One team will compete in the Cup finals on the day taking on Sutton Park School, Dublin and if successful the winners of St Rapheals and St Brigids Loughrea.

Mountrath’s second team will compete in the Shield competition and will take on Dungarvan College.

This is a massive achievement for the school as the boys have beaten some of the top volleyball schools in Ireland to reach the finals

They are also competing at the highest level in their respective competitions.
