The Harps and Rosenallis to clash in Division 1 relegation final and all Tuesday’s results

The Harps and Rosenallis will meet in the ACHL Division 1 relegation final following their losses to Castletown and Abbeyleix respectively this evening.

A four-way play-off at the bottom of Division 1 was necessary after four teams finished on the same number of points – and a walkover given during the regular stages by Rosenallis to Rathdowney-Errill meant that scoring difference couldn’t be used.

This evening Castletown beat The Harps by 2-13 to 1-14 in Durrow while Abbeyleix were 1-18 to 0-19 winners away to Rosenallis.

It means that the winners of the two games are safe while Rosenallis must meet The Harps at the weekend to see who makes the drop to Division 1A for 2020.

Elsewhere this evening, Camross claimed a third league title in a row while in Division 1B of the football, Ballylinan gave a walkover to Stradbally. Neither side had anything to play for and Ballylinan are due to meet Courtwood in the Division 1B final at the weekend.
